Our Mission
Access to financial markets shouldn’t come with a coin-flip chance of being scammed. Trading already carries real risk — market risk, timing risk, the ordinary risk of being wrong. What it shouldn’t carry is the added risk of handing your money to a platform that was never going to give it back.
Our mission is simple: make broker transparency the default, not the exception. We want a world where checking a broker’s legitimacy is as normal and as easy as checking a product review before buying online.
Our Values
- Independence. We accept no payment, commission, or referral fee from any broker we review.
- Evidence over opinion. We don’t publish a scam warning because a broker “feels” untrustworthy. Every flag is backed by regulatory records, documented complaints, or verifiable evidence.
- Accessibility. Our reviews are free, written in plain language, and require no sign-up or paywall to read.
- Accountability. If we get something wrong, we correct it — publicly and promptly. Brokers who dispute a review are welcome to submit evidence for reconsideration.
Editorial Independence
Every review on Fair Trade Reviews is written and scored independently of any broker, advertiser, or third party. We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage, and no broker has ever been able to buy their way off our warning list.
Where the site does generate revenue, that revenue is kept strictly separate from editorial decisions — the people writing and verifying reviews have no visibility into, or stake in, any commercial arrangement. A broker’s ranking or rating reflects what our research found. Nothing else.
A Note From the Team
We’ve seen what happens on the other side of a broker scam — the phone that stops being answered, the “verification fee” that keeps growing, the withdrawal that’s always “in process.” Some of us have worked in financial compliance and consumer protection; others got tired of watching people find these answers only after it was too late.
Fair Trade Reviews is the resource we wish had existed the first time someone we knew got scammed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Fair Trade Reviews affiliated with any broker?
No. We maintain full editorial independence and accept no compensation from the brokers we review.
How do you verify a scam report?
We cross-check submitted complaints against regulatory filings, licensing databases, and, where possible, corroborating reports from other users before anything is published.
Can a broker request a review or a correction?
Yes. Brokers can submit documentation disputing a review through our contact page. Verified corrections are published promptly.
Do you cover crypto and forex brokers, or just stock brokers?
Yes. Our coverage spans stock brokers, forex brokers, and crypto trading platforms — anywhere people are placing real money with a third party, we believe it’s worth checking first.
